Kit and Shelly's Wedding Anniversary

Today is my parents' 34th wedding anniversary. I want to tell my mom how much I love her and respect the woman that she is. I know that this is a tough day for her.

My mom and dad vowed, "as long as love shall last" on their wedding day, which always makes me smile. Well, love sure did last for a while!
I love you mama!!

Shelly, I know this is a bittersweet day for you. I know that you miss Kit like crazy all the time but today especially. You are in my prayers and in my heart. Your love for each other and your tenderness towards one another was such a gift to so many of us. I would smile inside each time I heard you call him "Daddy" or "Dad", or was it "Papa"?hehe! You guys were the cutest! Anyway, I love and admire YOU Shelly. You are such a strength for so many and I am grateful to know you....you are not alone and I pray God will surround you with his love always, but especially today............love you

This is a special day. Kit and Shelly had a special marriage and a special life, mostly because they swam in a sea of love. They gave out so much love to each other and to the rest of us, too. It was a privilege to be one of those at the receiving end of all that love...to bask in it and enjoy the fun and laughter and depth that went with it.

We miss Kit so much, and we miss you Shelly and Maisha, and miss the life that we all shared together. You are in our hearts always and in our prayers today.
Much love,
The Johnsons

That picture is the Kit and Shelly I knew. Shelly looked like a young Jane Fonda, and Kits body was too big for his head as he was bench pressing 360 at the time, They were a handsome couple. More importantly they loved each other deeply and were very dedicated to each other and their marriage. Their baby Maisha, was the cutest bug I'd ever seen. Those were the days! My love and best wishes to you all. Jimi
