please pray

Hello All,
My dad has a fever of 101 at this point. They just started giving him antibiotics...please pray that his fever will go down. Like we've said before, he has no white blood cells to fight off infection. and, it is my understanding that they cannot give him those cells in a transfusion b/c it would encourage the cancer cells. He is feeling very uncomfortable. we really, really appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and support.
much love, Maisha

Hi Kit,

Dave and I just prayed for you and Shelly. So many prayers...& sooooo many people love you and care about you and your family. We are in this together as the Body! There is not a day go by that I do not shed tears for you Kit, love you so much I do not want to see ( or hear about) you hurting. God will be Glorified through this trial in your life. Hopefully the process is under way to find your Donor match, is it? Is there a way to inform us all if there is a need for Donors to register?

City of Hope get ready cuz we know Kit is coming to town!

Love you xoxoxox

Dearest Lord Jesus,
Oh God, we pray for your mercy on Kit, and his family. We come before you in our frailty, recognizing that we are nothing without you, but that by your stripes, we are healed for eternity! You are the great Healer, so we ask that it be your will to completely, and fully heal this man who you call your beloved friend. Lord, we ask for a miracle for Kit, for complete restoration of his body. We cry out to you for Your power, mercy, and victory over this enemy that has so silently crept in. Oh God, we do ask these things in your most precious and holy name, name above all names, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Alpha and Omega, Ruler over All.
Amen

We are praying that the fever goes down, that you get as comfortable as possible, and that this chemo treatment will totally do its job. The Lord is mighty to save you, Kit. You are loved by Him and by us.
Love you dear friend, Joe and Karen

Hi Kit,

We think about you so,so many times a day and each time we pray that the Lord is sitting by your side holding you. Our hearts are hurting with each and every thing we know you are going through. I know if we could all share your pain and suffering, we surely would as a church body. Actually we are all suffering with you as we just love you so much and for all you mean to us.

Love, Carole and Thom

Kit,
We made a fool of ourselves yesterday for you....you'll see what I'm talking about soon! I want to keep you in suspense and give you something to look forward to! You were all the buzz at church yesterday- everybody is praying for you & your family. I sincerely missed seeing Shelley at prayer time for the Children's Ministry. I always look forward to seeing her then. You guys are just amazing! We will be on Oahu this weekend for the HIM conference with the Shiraishi's and Nichols. Sure wish we could see you then!
Love to you on this sunny Monday morning!
Tara (Jeff Emma & Bryce Tarpey too!)

Kit,

You have been a blessing to me from a far. My husband and I were in YWAM Maui from 95-03 and now my husband and I work outside YWAM in Kihei. We and also our church Calvary Chapel South Maui are praying for you! Love the blog updates. Praise the Lord for your spirit (the Jesus kind)! Let patience have it's perfect work (James 1:4). I know the Lord is going to help you endure.

Love, Kenton and Raquel Werk
