Saturday's update from Buddy & Kit

My brother Kit wants to thank everyone for their continued love and support. He loves the responses on the blog and all the cards and letters. He is sorry that he cannot be seen personally, but he has no immune system to defend against sickness. The Lord gave Kit a psalm last night to encourage him. Psalm 91:15 says, "He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him." Kit feels incredible confidence in the blessings from God. He wants us to continue to keep him in our prayers, and to continue to hide God’s word in our hearts so that, at the right time, we will be comforted. My brother is encouraged and strengthened by your love, support, and prayers.

I am experiencing the peace of God through HIS words. I want all of us to be diligent in our prayer times and our times of worship. Fill your hearts and minds with HIM in your quiet time as you start your day, before you move into the world, so that you can overcome the things of the world by the strength of Jesus.

Kit, We attended Hope Chapel for 5 months while on Maui. We were told about your battle on Easter. We have been fasting and praying for you ever since. God is not finished with your work yet in this world. People need to hear the words God has placed in your heart. So do not be discouraged stay focused on Jesus (that is the one thing you did every time we heard you minister) JESUS, JESUS, JESUS!!! So Aloha from New Mexico we hope to move back to Maui if it is God's will in the future and look forward to seeing you again in the pulpit!!!!!

Dear Buddy and Kit....thank you for your encouraging words in the Lord. We will do whatever you say---you have the stage right now, guys! We love you both so much and all the Lauer family who have done nothing but bring blessing into our lives over and over again. You are the First Family of Hope, and we are so privileged to know you. We are praying.....

Buddy and Maisha, thank you for the update these couple of days on Kit. We are continually praying, for Kit and for all of you. By the way, how is Shelly doing? We're praying for her healing too so she can be near Kit again.

Kit, after all these, and you're back on your feet, maybe we should plan another Philippines Mission Trip :). Thanks for your wise words on this post.

Brothers,

Aloha from the Dust Bowl...
Just a note to let you know that 40-50 people in our small group at Tulsa First Baptist Church are praying for you until y'all say stop. I got a chance to introduce you and your family to our small group this morning and we will not stop until you are an Ironman again! We love you and so does ALL of God.
Warmst regards, Jon & Cheryl Horton
