Two updates from Maisha

1) Hello everyone,

My dad had a pretty bad night last night due to feeling sick and nauseous from the chemotherapy. They are giving him meds to help with that now and it is working...he is feeling better. But, he did not get much sleep and, because of the fact that his white blood cells are so low, this is a concern...he is more susceptible to getting sick, and we really do not want him to get any infections, etc. So please pray that he will have a better night tonight and that he will get some rest. He will not be able to take any of your calls at this time, but cards or emails are good :) . Thank you for all of your prayers and best wishes.

Luv,
Maisha

2) Thank you soooo much for your prayers...the chemotherapy treatment is working. The "blast" cells are down from 80% to 5%. If they stay at this level for 14 days and we find a bone marrow match for him, my dad will be sent to California to the City of Hope to have the transplant done. Thanks again for all of your prayers!

:) Maisha

Hi Maisha and Lauer Clan---what a fantastic report...and so fast!!! Wow! No wonder your dad is sick...the chemo is on the move and really doing its thing!! Glory to God for that good news, and we will continue to pray for strength and health and a good night's sleep for Dad. The Lord bless and keep you all in peace.

So great to hear about the dropping blast count. We will pray for lots of good rest and a timely donor. Has there been a donor search?
How is Shelly feeling?
Just as the sun is breaking through our storm clouds, so the Lords' grace is shining down on Kit.

Aloha Kit-

We were very surprised and saddened to hear the news of your cancer but we know Who's hands you are in! Praise His name!!

You and your family have gone straight to the top of our daily prayer list and we are trusting God for a speedy and full recovery. Your ministry has just moved from Maui to Oahu for the time being but it is just as powerful!

We love you Kit....

Thanks to Maisha for keeping us informed on Kit's progress.

Another good Word from Isaiah.

26:3 You will guard him (Kit) and keep him in perfect constant peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.

Amen!

Love you Kit,

Mele

Behold, I AM the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
