Verses ...

It was a very beautiful Celebration of Life last night at Hope Chapel. I am very thankful that Hope Chapel did a live stream feed here online, that family and friends around the world were able to celebrate with us.

I would like to post a couple of verses that have inspired me during the celebration of Kit's life. As these are verses that Kit applied in his life as he lived fully for Christ, may these verses also inspire us to keep living a life worth living, to the glory of God...

A verse that would always remind us of Kit:

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful." - 2 Timothy 4:7

A verse to keep us all going:

" But those who trust in the Lord will find their strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." - Isaiah 40:31

I am so tired - the service ended at 2am for me but I am filled with such gratitude for Hope Chapel doing a live stream so I could be part of it. Thank you. I felt as if I was back on Maui. What a wonderful celebration of Kit's life! I learned so much about Kit and the Lauer family. Kit definitely lived and died for Christ and finished so strong. He will be an inspiration to me for the rest of my life. I don't know why I came to the blog this morning. I guess partly out of routine . What did I expect to see "He is not here -why do you look for the living among the dead?" Kit has joined Jesus and all the angels and saints and someday, I will meet Kit in heaven and thank him for all he has been for me- a role model that I hope to follow for many years. God Bless all the Lauers and hold you and keep you all in the palm of HIs hand.

Kit was an amazing guy that had an ability to rock you to your core and challenge you to be all you could. Sometimes he was very blunt about it - but often it was what was needed at the time. I have met no one like him and don't expect to. Kit was unique - a one of a kind. He will be missed. His incredible faith and amazing love continues to encourage and inspire. What an amazing gift to have been able to impact the world in such a big way - even after he is gone.:) I will always remember the lessons he taught, the jokes he told, and the example that he was. I will definitely miss the mental sparring on matters of apologetics. He fought the good fight, and finished strong. Miss you, Kit. Until we meet again - A hui hou.

Love you Lauer family!!!!:) God bless always, Andrea
