It's Sat evening and I am writing the blog for Kit. Thank you for all the encouraging comments. We really feel your support and love.

Kit has finished 2 days of chemo now. The first day of chemo did knock down some of the cancer cells in his blood, so hopefully the next three treatments will destroy all of them in his blood and bone marrow. The doctors here have conferred with the City of Hope doctors and they recommended 2 chemos that were older , that Kit did not use before. We are hoping that these destroy his blast cells. One of them is cobalt blue and makes his urine blue.. hopefully the urologists were prepared for the strange looking sample.
Kit had a really hard night last night, his head felt like it was going to explode. Hopefully , it will be a better night tonight.
I can not tell you how much we appreciate your love and prayers. Please keep lifting Kit up to the Lord.
We love you and we want to be home with you soon.

i want blue urine and anything else you feel like sharing. :) you have allowed us into your family (thank you) and it just speaks family - we are with you in this.
dear Heavenly Father, we are trusting You with kit this evening. what a wonderful thing to be able to do. You are His Father. You love Him more than he loves mikey and maisha and You have all power to rid his body of the junk and renew it with healthy cells. oh God, please please do this. we trust You oh so much and with the same breath we beg of You to heal our precious brother and with one voice we will praise You. no matter what dear God. You are worthy and the perfect Father. Be glorified tonight in kit's room, in his body, in his heart and in his mind. may You comfort every member of his family and fill all of them with Your Holy Spirit. may they fellowship in full confidence of Your presence every step of the way. oh God, kit is in Your hands and we are so thankful.
oh Father, please please heal him.
love to You God and to you as well precious lauers

Aloha Kit:
We are praying for you.

I have contacted Ben and wanted to run an idea past you. I am not one to do preaching, but I have found my life at a crossroads. I have been trying to figure out where I belong with the church and how I can bring my talents.

My calling is landscape and I do a pretty good job here on the islands. If you ever saw Evan Almighty, I feel I have been given a vision to create a formal garden adjacent to the property. This garden would be accessible to all. I would like to see herbs, fruit, vegetables, flowers. I have designed hundreds on properties/hotels/resorts, but I feel this would have the greatest meaning.

My son goes to Rooted on Sunday evenings, and I have been trying to think of ideas that I could do to keep busy while he is there. I would like to start a garden club or 3G God's Garden Group. I know a lot of people would love to get involved and they can take ideas and practices to their homes.

The history of garden and the scientific advances where done by many Catholic Priests. I would like this group to do something positive for the Church plus have Fellowship. It is a way I can give back, but not have to travel long distances while raising a family.

I know this is not the kind of letter you were expecting, but let me know what you think. I have contact Stacy Otomo already and he is forwarding me the Civil plans for the property. I just want to see the utility layouts and grades. Not sure if they built it per plan.

Ps. You have inspired me in many ways. I too Wrestled in high school and know you can do this. I can hear it in your voice and your belief.

God Bless

It was a good thing for me to put my arms around Maisha tonight, and love on her. She is such a wonderful girl. We laughed about your making blue water. We thought about you, and loved you. God, give us a miracle with these new drugs.

I think I've told you this before - when Bradley has cancer about 25 or or years ago, they also tried "an experimental drug" on him. It worked! We are hoping and praying this new chemo will work for you.
