Shelly here again. It is Dec. 30th. Just when we were thinking that Kit was getting better , the chills and fever began... over 103 last night, but we are controlling them with warm blankets and tylenol . One thing good about being here again at Kaiser... I know right where to get the warm blankets and we have the routine down.
Most of Kit's infection is in his nasal sinus' now. His eye is so much better. It is completely open now.
The oncologist came in this a.m. and said that Kit's bone marrow tap will be tomorrow at 10:00a.m. Because New Years day is the next day, we will not get results as quickly as we would like. I know that all of you will be praying for miraculous results and I thank you for that.
Reading the comments by each of you is very encouraging. Thank you for taking the time.. thank you for your prayers... thank you for loving Maisha and Mikey (too)as you do.
Love,shelly and Kit

Aloha Shelly,

Thank you so much for all the updates. As always we keep praying for you, Kit, and the Family.
Perhaps we should get Mike Singletary to visit Kit.
Coach Singletary has helped the 49ers so much, is a wonderful inspirational speaker, and a Man of God.

Lord please continue your Blessings on the Lauer Family!

Dear Lauers

We are in constant prayer for the miraculous healing of Kit. We love all of you, and pray for all of your family. I know I never know what to say, so like so many of us, we just pray.

Dear Kit & Shelly: All I can say is that our hearts are with you in that hospital room, more often that you may think. Your faith is a testimony to the immense Love God has for all of us, especially in the times when we need it the most. No matter the outcome, we know that Kit has WON! (as well as the rest of his brothers and sisters).
We are praying without ceasing and putting you both in His Hands. With all of our love, the Wilson family. (Please keep the updates coming...)

Kit- Blessings from your old friend Cathryn and Julian Varlet. We're in California!
Last time we saw you and Shelly was on our wedding day, Jan 10, 2004.

thanks for keeping us up to date.
Boy do I know the comfort that comes from familiarity of the place, since I so often am not familiar with where I am!!

May Papa continue to give your whole family little things and surprises that bring comfort and encouragement, and the eyes to see them and grab hold.

Hi Shelly & Kit,

Just finished working with Yuko. We prayed for you too. Everybody we see we tell them to pray. Sorry you have to go through this. My hurts for you and all the suffering. May God be glorified as He has through your steadfast walk.
Lord we thank you that your mercies are new every morning. So we plead for your mercy over our brother Kit and his bone marrow tap tomorrow morning to be a good report. May Kit receive your protection through Your blood, Jesus. May Kit receive your comfort through Your pain, Jesus. Guide the hands of those around him and give Kit a peaceful sleep tonight with no fever or infections. Give our Shelly strength, one day at a time.

We love you,

Mele

Kit & Shelly,

At the mall yesterday ran into Kim Morrell and we prayed for you. Today in our staff meeting we prayed for you. At all our meals we pray for you. When we're along we pray for you. Everyone is praying, all the time. We hold to the faith and hope in a great God who loves you so much - he's just crazy in love with you guys.

Just look at each other and say out loud, "He's crazy in love with you."

We love you too.

On the day I called, You answered me; You made me bold with STRENGTH in my soul. PSALM 138:3

Dear Kit,
We are praying for your strength, and that you can see into all the hearts that are crying out to God for you and your family! You are so very loved--God's love through his children is such a beautiful miracle, isn't it? We are asking boldly for complete healing. You and your family inspire all of us, Kit!
In His Love,
Robyn, Halii and the Iaea kids

Shelly,we love your blogs, keep up the good work!! Years ago when we lived on Oahu, and were going thru a very difficult time,I wrote down verses that were so helpful to me during that time and actually read straight thru the bible that year.It is so neat to be able to go back from time to time and read these scriptures and my thoughts. It was so evident that God was right there with us thru it all.I'm hoping you are journalling some of your thoughts and scriptures as you and Kit go thru these trials. We are praying diligently for good news on the bone marrow test! Loving all of your family so much,Joyce and Jesse
