Shelly here again.... I love reading your notes... thank you so much for praying for us... I am a slow learner.. and setting up Kit's computer was difficult for me... but... I have it down now..so I can help do the blogging now. I love to look on the blog and read what our dear friends and family have to say. You guys are so encouraging!!!!
The infectious disease doctor called a little while ago to say that the recent blood work identified some strange flagellum, so they started Kit on some new medicine. Kim Insley-Morell said that she knew about the roller coaster ride.. because of what she went through when Randy died of cancer many years ago. It is such an up and down ride... but we contiue to pray to our Lord for strength and healing , we play our worship music, read our daily devotional, our Bible and another special book that Mikey's mother in law bought for me years ago...and with your prayers.... we are getting through each day.
For Christmas, I had bought Kit a special photo of a honu.( turtle)..because Kit has a special love for turtles because of Mikey. I had Maisha bring the photo over here for
Christmas and it is on the wall in our room. I just told one of our favorite doctor's the story of "turtle life" when Randy Insley died years ago....and Mikey ( a four year old) thought that eternal life was "turtle life"... and Mikey asked Kit if "Randy got to go live with the turtles now? "
Well ...I am signing off. I love you guys.. and I am so thankful to be here with Kit and to have you lifting us up in prayer.
Love,shelly

Hello Kit and Shelly,
You are both constantly in our prayers. Last year we were talking to a friend about the trouble we were having selling our house. Our friend said did you ask God to send someone with the money. Our house sold shortly afterward. Point being we have been asking for God to flat out put His healing hand on Kit.Whether this is the right way or wrong way, we are asking for that miracle to happen. Sharon is back in Minnesota with her brother but she calls so I can give her up dates. So that is our prayer for God to do that miracle and heal you Kit.
Your Friends in Christ, Nick/Sharon

Shelly-
Julian and I have been in California for 5 years since we were married in Iao on my Maui home.
I have a dear picture of Kit pinning a flower on Julian's lapel.
I have fond memories of leading worship with Kit and Buddy in your Kihei home for over 3 years and have just finished listening to Kit's October message on glorifying God in our lives (qualifications for leaders).
I want Kit to be healed, but I find myself praying this: "God, whatever brings you the most glory, have your way in Kit and Shelly's life right now".
I love you guys. I hope you got the comments I blogged yesterday 12/30/08.
Please tell Kit we are praying and we love him and will see him soon.

Dear Kit & Shelly,

Shelly I could hear your tender sweet voice as I read you Blog and sensed your emotions, filled with fatih, courage, love, peace, hope and strength.

Many are moved by your Spirit of Faith & Love for our Lord and Savior, one another, and the thousands of others who have been blessed and influenced by How well you take on assignments the Lord gives.

The opportunity for us to share in this journey with you has been another learning experience of what life here on earth is about. A reminder of how precious and meaningful life should be and that we should never take for granted one day and, make each day count for something good, for someone else.

You and your family have made this real and we Bless and Thank you All.

Hey Shelly:

I'm up here in North Idaho to do some snowboarding and it reminded me of the great times I had with Kit at Whistler years ago. Would you tell him to hurry and get well so I can get him back on the slopes? We declare victory in the name of Jesus! My prayers are with you and your family.

Hi Kit and Shelly,
We've been thinking about this difficult year ending and all you've been through. As the new year begins we never know what God has in store for us, only that He is good. For today we can pray for Kit as he has his bone marrow test, and tomorrow we will pray that he doesn't suffer pain as a result of the test. We can thank God for Shelly being there to love Kit for all of us. As the future unfolds we can resolve to cling tight to our good God. This is enough for us, knowing that God has a plan for all of us, a plan for good.
We love you so much and wish we could be there with you again. We would put our arms around you and hug you and hug you.
Jerry & Janis
