Sunday Update...

Hello everyone.
Kit wants to tell you all that he is doing ok right now. He did have a reaction to the blood transfusion that they gave him yesterday (his blood counts are so low right now because of the chemo). and he did have a fever...please pray that it is only from the reaction to the transfusion and that he is not getting an infection.
The bone marrow test is on tuesday and we get the results on wednesday.
Always appreciative of your love and support,
The Lauers

Hi Shelly,

You rock as a mom and a wife. Every Tween wishes you a happy mothers day.

And Kit, each Tween is praying. As they come in on Fridays they always ask for an update on you. One told me she is praying for you in all her spare time. All 50 of us prayed Friday for the blast cells to be blasted away.

Love you guys,

Toni

You two have been such an inspiration to so many! I read one of your letters last week, Kit ... the one about the Eucaliptic Trees, to my Women's Bible Study group. It was so applicable to our lives, as well to our Study as we're studying the life and ministry of the Apostle Paul (I just know you're going to have a BLAST getting to know him one day in your future future!). Anyway, we prayed for you, and we are commited to comtinuing to do so. Thank you for the wonderful, encouraging and inspirational updates. We love you guys so much ...Love: Pam & David Michael

Trust in the Lord with all your heart! And lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5,6

We're trusting Him with you and pray continually for the effectiveness of the treatment and that the blast cells would be made straight.

Love and Big Hugs, Steve and Janna

It is the first thing I do every morning, here in Colo long before any one is up! Our prayers are never ending. God is good all the time....all the time God is good. Our pastor here shared issues with us about his health in 2005. He mentioned He just wanted to leave but the prayers and love of God for him to forge on was so strong it was overwhelming for him. Now here you are, forge on for God is your rock. The Oltmans

The Lord reminded me of Psalm 23 as I am praying for all of you Dear Lauer Family. So I thought I'd post Psalm 23 here:

PSALM 23 - A psalm of David.

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside quiet waters,

He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

We're holding you up in prayers

Dear Kit & Shelly,

Lynn and I have been praying for you this weekend as we have been on the Big Island since Friday working on our property near the Volcano. As we shared with you before it is our pleasure to share this little getaway with you when we finish it and you come home.
Extra prayers for tomorrows test.

Walking in faith and victory,

Mele

Shelly,

My prayer today is for you especially - to be strong and positive - we're all holding your hand even more tightly these next few days. It is so awesome for you to be able to be with your man, by his side praying and loving him through this journey.

And Kit you have given us so much more than any/all of us could ever give back.

We just love you guys so much - you are never out of our thoughts and prayers.

Hi Kit,
In case you didn't hear I, Mikey, am back in the islands and
I had heard alot about you. But it wasn't until yesterday that I heard what was really happening. Well I just want you to know that I'm glad to be back...but I'll be even happier when you are back home with us.

Your Good Friend,
Michael DeLouise

Hello my friends! I love you all so much and I will be praying for the cancer cells to be gone. My Dad is looking down on you, praying for these cells to be blasted away also. I've talked to him many times about you.

Wish I was there to give you big hugs, but I'm sending them your way.

Love,
Ruby Lips
