day 20-Well, unfortunately, I've got some more bad news. The did find some spots (infiltrates) in his lungs. They are not sure what they are, but they are suspecting pneumonia. tomorrow morning he has to do a procedure to wash whatever it is out of his lungs. My dad has virtually not been getting any sleep...so I need to ask that there be no calls and no visitors for the next few weeks. He needs to get rid of this thing. I hope you all understand.Thank you! and thank you once again for you prayers. We will keep you updated.Maisha

Thank you for filling us in Maisha. We will pray that they are able to flush the pneumonia away; that his lungs will clear up, so that he can sleep again. It's good that you tell the world to give him some rest...you are a very popular group of people and it's hard for people to stay away from you all, so you have to tell us!!
Much love.....

Look at how many people you have touched through this illness, by bringing all of us closer to our Father through prayer and reading His Word as it should be. God’s giving is inseparably connected with our asking, and only by intercession can that power be brought down from heaven. This is why the power of prayer is so very important.
Physical suffering can test like nothing else especially when were experiencing the limitations of our body, and believe me I know this well. This is why we so desperately need to pray, trust, & know that God is in control. A hospital can be a lonely place as I well know, but it’s such a setting that God can quiet an anxious heart & give you the assurance that God has proven Himself faithful again & again in my life, as well as yours.. The last time I was in the hospital you came to see me & gave me great encouraging words. Then I was put in ICU after that & many people prayed for me from everywhere & some came to ICU to pray for me. The doctors told my children that I wasn’t going to make it, and who had the power of attorney to make the decision to take me off the ventilator. Well I astonished the doctors, and everyone one else when I was taken off the ventilator. It was a miracle, and a great opportunity to share with them & the staff about the effective fervent power of prayer.
I found joy and a grateful heart in God’s mercy knowing that He showed His love , and healing power in my life, and He will in yours. I know that God’s love & God’s hold on us are far greater than anything Satan can do to destroy it. It’s wonderful to see all the prayers & love poured out for you. It’s people gathering & coming together in pray, and the body of Christ taking care of it’s own. God is faithful my dear brother, and I look forward to see all that He is going to do in your life. God Be With You Love In Christ, Jenneau
I was reading this morning all about Gideon and when the Lord told him to go fight the Midenites (the enemy), he started out with 32,000 soldiers but God said that was too many so he sent 22,000 home, then the 10,000 was cut down to 300 as God said he wanted the people to know that this was the Lord that rescued them so it sounds like even though the odds seem more each day, God wants us to know that the victory is His and He will get all the Glory. Our prayers are with you, Shelly and Maisha
Lord, you know there have been countless times over the past two years when I have not been able to sleep. My anxious thoughts would run uncontrolled through my brain as I stared at the clock for hours on end.
Every time I was exhausted...every time I thought I couldn't hang on and do it anymore, you blessed me with a good night's sleep.
I lift Kit up to you now, so you can provide him with the peaceful sleep you gave me during my times of need. It is impossible to get a full night's rest in a hospital, so I pray that you comfort Kit and let him have many many wonderful 2-3 hour naps.
Please take away whatever spots are in his lungs. Give him rest so (with Your help) he can receive the correct antibiotics and get rid of this stubborn infection.
Maisha, if you or your mom need anything let me know--not much I can do from Fullerton, but I'll offer anyways..

Dear Lauer Family,
I think of you as I listen to this song (Bring Me Rain by Mercy Me). I pray that this rain in your life will make you stronger and that you will experience blesings in the midst of buffetings:

It's me again...
After I posted my comment above, I was embarrassed to see that the photo I placed on my profile for my blog appeared on my comments. I was embarrassed to see a smiling photo of me in the comment that's supposed to be so serious. I went to my profile right away to change the photo to what will appear in this comment but I couldn't take out the one that was already published and I was bummed. Then a soft still voice had spoken and comforted me... the Lord reminded me that "the joy of the Lord is our strength". And so it's ok to have a smiling face in the midst of adversity, because the joy of the Lord is our strength.
Kit, may the joy of the Lord strengthen you on this difficult journey you're in. You are in our constant prayers...
Kit...
The Bruno family is praying for you night and day and day and night. "Be still and know that he is God"
Much love..

BRING ME RAIN (BY MERCY ME)
I can count a million times
People asking me how I
Can praise You with all that
I’ve gone through
The question just amazes me
Can circumstances possibly
Change who I forever am in You
Maybe since my life was changed
Long before these rainy days
It’s never really ever crossed my mind
To turn my back on you, oh Lord
My only shelter from the storm
But instead I draw closer through these times
So I pray
Bring me joy, bring me peace
Bring the chance to be free
Bring me anything that brings
You glory And I know there’ll
be days When this life brings me pain
But if that’s what it takes to
praise You Jesus, bring the rain
I am yours regardless of the clouds that may
loom above because you are much greater than
my pain you who made a way for me suffering
your destiny so tell me whats a little rain
Beloved Lauer Family,
I love you all from the bottom of my heart. My heart is heavy; yet, the LORD continues to reveal His faithfulness to me. The LORD is renewing my discipline for prayer as I fast today. Kit, I desperately pray for your lungs to be made whole, free from infection. I pray that the LORD gives you supernatural strentgh and hope. I pray that the Holy Spirit fills you with joy. Kit, I thank the LORD for every moment I have ever had with you; I cherish them in the depths of my heart.
With all the hope and love I have,
-Yeshua
Kit, Thank you for your great example in living out the pages of the Bible in our midst. You are a true inspiration at a time when we all hunger for someone to actually live out what they believe.Shelly, Mikey, Maisha we are all in your corner and love you very much.
Dear Kit,
Some Hope families went to Hana this weekend and as we were driving out it was very easy to pray for you as windy road makes me feel sick. Every time my stomach would turn I pressed in on my prayers for you and kept thinking just hang on we will get through this. As we gathered together on the beach we did not forget you but joined hands and prayed for our pastor our friend.
Keep fighting!
We love you,
Mele
Jacqueline the camera lady says,
