Day 23

Hello Everyone,

Kit is so thankful for all your love and prayers. He feels your strength and encouragement and wants you to know that he loves you all very much. Please pray that his lung infection clears up so he can start his 2nd round of chemo. He is receiving a blood transfusion today. It takes about three hours, so we would appreciate your prayers for that too. All his vitals are good and he is focused on the task at hand...healing for his lungs.

Kit says to tell you not to worry.

Matthew 6:34
"Therefore do not worry about tommorow, for tomorrow will worry about itself."

Love,

Aunt Dawn

Dear Kit,
Leviticus 17;11 says "For the life of the flesh is in the blood"
so we will pray that the new blood in the tranfusion will be filled with new life for you. We love you and pray for your comfort and healing.

Kit,

We're still catching up on this situation. You're comments are like sitting under your ministry again.

Mom just handed this to me from Isaiah 43:

Is. 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.
Is. 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

We love you guys so much. What a team!
Maisha, Shelly, You guys are awesome...

Kit,
As Craig called a fast to the church my heart leaped w/ joy! Just completed 3 day fast in petition for you and Mike (Sam's dad). Please come home so we can help build your immune system.
God parted the red sea and can protect you in this environment you are in.
Raw Juice, wheatgrass and many other powerful healing remedies awaits your homecoming. Jesus is the master healer in any circumstances. We love you so very much Kit. Your faithfulness and strength in the Lord glows and radiates through your life. Your family is amazing and awesome.
In Christ Deep Love,
Deborah Manzano

I just had a thought that, when you come home, and I know you will, you'll have to hide for a while, or perhaps have some security guards with you every time you go out, because people here in Maui are so anxious and ready for your return, that they'll just go crazy and you won't have a minute of peace. You'll be just like a rock star, because you rock.
We miss you and we love you!

Kit,
You don't know me; I just applied for an internship at Hope Chapel. While clicking around the website this past week, I clicked the blog, thinking it'd be the typical journal of a Pastor... which unfortunately, it was not what I expected.
I'll pray that Gods arms embrace you, as well as your family while you go through this. I hope that your immune system gets strong, and you're able to start your second round of chemo.
Stay strong, and be well!!!! :)
-Always,
Alicia

Pastor Kit:

I have to share with you what you are doing on Maui, the Islands and other parts of the country & the world. Your story has touched many hearts and christians everywhere are praying for you Pastor. I'm not kidding, your 'challenge' with Cancer has ignited many of us to get serious, pray expecting, and Stand firm in the Word. Because of your great love for our Lord, and a heart to still serve, even in the midst of personally agony, your transparentcy to all of us via this blog has truely caused us to "go".... get up and "go into the world and preach the good news of Jesus Christ". Even in a hospital bed Pastor Kit, your ministry flows, and I believe you are now reaching many more than you could ever have dreamed.

Praying for you continually.
love you bunches, Freckles
