I just spoke with my dad this morning and he and doing better. He had a pretty rough night, but he is doing alright this morning. He wanted me to ask for prayer that he would find a bone marrow match as that is most likely the next step. I know my Uncle Buddy really wants to be the match :-)My Dad wanted me to include a Bible verse, so here is what I chose:
"Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!" -Psalm 31:24
I will keep on keeping you all updated.

This is Kim Finney. Of course we are praying ALOT! Thanks for that opportunity. Anyway... I just remebered that there is a great website that has wonderful videos of Maui with great music and relaxation. The site is www.lifehut.com Dr. Rick Sword is the clinical psychologist behind this and he put a special one there for people undergoing cancer treatment. Just thought this might help. I like the sea of tranquility audio file that helps you get a good sleep.

what is the process involved in finding the donor? have they started testing (bloos testing to find possible match? does the hospital have a list of donors already? How does it goes?
