"The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, "The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!" Lam. 3:22-24

I awoke this morning early on day 10 and looked out my window as dark clouds parted and a beatiful silver white light burst forward to fill my hospital bedroom. The Lord reminded me of all of you guys and all of your prayers and love and concern for me. I was overwhelmed with the thought of so many people praying for me, and sending me cards, letters and posting comments on the blogs telling me how much the teachings, messages, etc meant to your life. it's amazing to know that God has used a person's life to sow into other people's lives at a depth that you're totally unaware of. Again, it just reminds me of how great our God is.
This morning the Lord showed me a picture of His heart for you...it was huge! and written on His heart was, "My heart beats for you". His desire for each of us is that our hearts would beat for Him as well, and so as long as our heart beats...let it beat for the Lord!

The Lord has held any infections from me...I have no nausea, aches or pains. My blood count is still dropping so I have to sustain transfusions pretty regularly but everything is going in the right direction.
The number one prayer is that when they take the bone marrow test (probably tues April 8) the bone marrow will be clear of any blast cells...that there will not be one! and I can go for the bone marrow transplant.
I love you all very much,
Kit

Thank you Kit for that Word!
You make life real for us. We love you because you have shared everything about yourself, the good the bad and the ugly. It gives us hope and strength to keep on keeping on in all of our weekness when we hear you speak.

Your love is so genuine.

We love you,

Mele

Aloha Mister Kit,
I started to go to Hope Chapel in 1999 and came back to Hope in 2001. There was a period in my life that I had stop going because I had fallen away from God’s belief and came back to Hope for “answers”. I always sat in the very back, and ONLY on Friday nights. It seemed that no matter what you were talking about, it was ALWAYS exactly what I needed to hear. You always answered the question(s) I had on my mind.
I finally one day came up to you after service and asked you some very deep life pondering questions. One being if I was an “abomination” for things my family had done in their past, for the things I had done to others in my pass. You told me I needed spiritual counseling. I went to Hope Chapel’s counselor. Since that “appointment” (that you lead me to), I have never doubted or questioned God since. In fact he has shown his love to me, my children, my husband and answered my prayers on more counts then I can remember, and it’s because of you.
I never told you thank you. You never expected it. But I do thank you.
Thank you for being such a Great Man of God.

I just heard of your “time away” this past Sunday. I broke down in tears and had to leave the auditorium. I would of recorded a message for you like so many others standing in the long line after service. But I didn’t want you to hear me “choke” on my “get well” message to you on video tape.

So I’m just gonna tell you now… get well soon and I plan to see you up on stage in church on Friday ASAP so I can thank you again in person. My family and I keep you in all our prayers.

With All Our Love,
The Santiago Family

Last week we had 40 Tweens in small groups praying for you. Saw a Tween at the pool on Saturday and she said, "I'm praying for Pastor Kit". Tonight you can count on us to be praying again. We are posting your picture so they can all see you how great you are looking. We love you. Toni

I waited patiently for the Lord and He turned to me and He heard my cry for help.

He brought me up from a desolate pit...and set my feet on a rock making my steps secure.

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord...

Lord my God, You have done many things--Your wonderful works and Your plans for us; none can compare with You.

If I were to report and speak of them, they are more than can be told. Psa. 40:1-5

We love you Kit. Thanks for the post today. It was beautiful and truly touched my life.

Hi Kit,

We love you sooooo much! We want to tell you how much we appreciate you and miss your Friday night teachings. I personally love the joy, laughter and your transparent heart, and the tears that come only from a heart broken by the love of Christ... We are looking forward to more at the Gathering, so gyddy up and come back soon.

Sam did an outstanding impromptu in your spirit tonight and he misses you too...

As Sam said tonight we have nothing to fear as long as we reach out the Jesus no matter what. God is always in control.

You my friend, who has sown so much into our lives, are just in a recharge mode with the Father. He will soon bring you back to us so so you may continue the blaze.

I'm so happy to hear you are feeling a bit better. Tuesday will be an exciting day! I'm counting on your doctors to find a bone marrow donor so you can come to City of Hope and I can visit--even if you are stuck in a bubble and I have to write messages and hold them up to your window.

During therapy yesterday my therapist read me a passage from James that made me think of you..

"Consider it all joy, my bretheren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of you faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing" James 1:2

Hang in there--I pray for you, your wife and Maisha whenever I get a chance.
