Update from Shelly

Kit is having a rough day today. He's not feeling well, as it's hard to get a good night's sleep and he has a fever. The doctors are running x-rays to try and isolate the infection.

Kit has not received the results of his bone marrow test yet. He might not get the results until tomorrow.

Please pray for Kit's temperature to go down along with the results of the test as well.

Love,
Shelly

Thank you LORD for healing Kit; for taking away his fever and chills and giving him good, sweet sleep tonight. Thank you for protecting him from all infections. Thank you for keeping Your promises; to heal because Your body was broken and bruised for Kit, and to give your beloved Kit much needed sweet sleep.

In Jesus' Name,

Jeff

Hey Pastor:

So you've been handed a "curve ball" eh? Not to worry, the Word of God is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever... You've got ol'Satan real worried Pastor "good and faithful servant of our Lord Jesus Christ".

...I pray for your fever to subside/take off, and you to feel well, while we all await "good news" of ZERO cancer cells. ....

...You've been transfused by the blood of Jesus Kit! We stand firmly in agreement with you Kit for the full manifestation of total Healing in your body. You are SO loved!!

I pray the Holy Spirit to fall apon you tonight like a lovely warm velvety soft blanket, as you snuggle up against the chest of Jesus... His arms cradling you... rocking you to sleep. What an amazing Father He is.

love, Freckles

Dear Kit and Shelly:
I just received the "NOT SO GOOD NEWS" from Yuko. I called every single person I know and asked them to pray for you both. I can see the bright side of it and I want you to do the same: 80% is not 100%. Let's hold on to the 20% bed cells that were killed with the chemo and keep praying and having faith.
God is to smart, why would He want you in heaven with him if you can be much more useful for Him here among us. I really belive He has many plans for you for many years to come.
With all my love to you both and your family.
God bless you all!

Shelly & Kit, I'm sure you are hugging each other now and holding tight to each other. The rest of us are hugging you through cyberspace and praying without ceasing as are so many others this Wed. night. The Bad Girls prayed for you tonight, we miss you both so much. We will continue to pray for that miracle we all want, complete healing in spite of everything. The tests may not show what we want but we will have faith and press forward in our prayers. We always want to win the fight(match) in the first round with a knockout(pin) but your opponent is tough and you have to fight another round, so we pray for the next round of chemo to knock out the blast cells & that God would be victorious. We are in your corner, can you hear us praying & shouting?

I will give you back your health again and heal your wounds. Jerimiah 30:17
Love you Kit & Shelly
Janet :)

Aloha Kit & Shelly!
Praying right now Kit, that you are having a peaceful, restful night's sleep, that your fever goes back to normal and remains that way - and the test results come back with a big fat ZERO for cancer cells, in the Mighty Name of Jesus!

We love you and praise God for you, and for the many ways that you have touched my life, over the years, as well as the lives of my kids and everyone who has ever heard you preach, even once. God raised up an awesome warrior that day he called you, Kit. Jer. 29:11 is one of my life verses - "For I know the plans I have for you Kit, declares the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope." I remember something you said, when we were still on Ohukai, about how the Lord doesn't let us see what is in our future because if He did, we would definitely just freak out, but that He knows all of the things we will face and He Himself will see us through each and every one of them. Tears come to my eyes when I think of all of the times your words have encouraged me, while I walked through a number of very dark and scary valleys.

I just wept for joy and praised God, when I read your post for Day 12, because I had exactly that vision of you there in Moanalua, as you described your new 'ministry' among the nurses, doctors, other staff and fellow patients and their families. That first time we meet together to pray for you, I heard God say that He was calling you out into the mission field, to reap a bountiful harvest and to bring His love and words of encouragement and healing to those who were suffering and going through painful times.

It's such a blessing to see your photo! Shelly, I'm so glad to hear that you are well and are there with Kit. Thanks so much to Maisha for her diligent posting to keep us updated on Kit's progress and the prayer requests.

Love & prayers,
Tharon
